Ilk olarak konuya tam bir netlik kazandirabilmek için sanatin, daha sonra da anatominin ne oldugunu açikliga kavusturmamiz gerekmektedir. Bu nedenle bu kitapta önce, sanatin ve anatominin ne oldugu, daha sonra da plastik sanatlarda anatominin ne zaman kullanildigi veya kullanilmaya baslandigi ve plastik sanatlar egitiminde anatominin neden gerekli oldugu üzerinde duracagiz.Insan bedeni, karmasik bir örüntüdür. Therefore, in this book, we will first discuss what the art and the anatomy are, and then, when the anatomy was used in the plastic arts or started to be used in education of plastic arts and why anatomy is necessary in the plastic arts.Human body is a complex unity. It’s not really easy to consider it like a form or a movement which could explain itself. Also there are lots of invisible joints of human body. It is not easy to picture the human body; it is one of the most difficult means of artistic expression.Because it was a forbidden situation by the religion to cut and search the human body in Leonardo da Vinci’s period, people who wanted to study the anatomy did the studies very secretly and especially at nights and on the corpses of the criminals who were executed.Among Leonardo’s studies, the ones relating to the blood vessels are important. Leonardo, after studying the older people’s blood vessels, found out that older people’s blood vessels were a lot different than children’s, young and nature people’s.
